Accessibility at PhotoCircle
Everyone belongs in the Circle
PhotoCircle helps people privately share photos and videos with the friends, family members, and communities that matter most. We believe technology should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we’re committed to continually improving PhotoCircle for people with disabilities, including those who use assistive technologies.
Our apps for iOS, iPadOS, and Android have been independently evaluated by Accessible.org against the applicable WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA criteria. The evaluation found that PhotoCircle meets most applicable criteria and identified areas for further improvement.
Mobile Accessibility
PhotoCircle supports built-in accessibility features on iOS, iPadOS, and Android.
VoiceOver
Navigate PhotoCircle on iOS and iPadOS and hear interface elements read aloud.
Larger Text
Adjust text size using your device’s display and accessibility settings.
Color-Independent Information
Important information is conveyed with icons and text, not color alone.
TalkBack
Navigate PhotoCircle on Android with spoken feedback and accessibility gestures.
Screen Zoom and Magnification
Magnify onscreen content using your device’s built-in accessibility tools.
Portrait and Landscape
Use PhotoCircle in your preferred screen orientation.
Where We’re Still Improving
Some PhotoCircle experiences use third-party technology. This may occasionally affect how screen readers interpret certain content and controls, the contrast of some elements, and the announcement of some status updates.
Photos and videos in PhotoCircle are uploaded by users. Users can add a written caption of up to 200 characters to each media item, but PhotoCircle does not currently automatically generate image descriptions, synchronized captions, or audio descriptions.
We continue to evaluate these areas and use accessibility testing and user feedback to guide improvements.
VPAT & Accessibility Conformance Report
Our Accessibility Conformance Report, based on VPAT® Version 2.5, provides detailed findings against WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 Levels A and AA. It’s the right document to share with your procurement, IT, or compliance team.
